Julius Caesar Act II : Scene IV Summary



⇒ Portia is feeling uneasy and worried about her husband Brutus. She tells their servant Lucius to head to the Senate building and observe Brutus's appearance and actions.

⇒ At the same time, a soothsayer arrives and informs Portia that he intends to go to the streets to wait for Caesar’s arrival. He’s concerned about a potential danger to Caesar and wants to discuss it with him.

⇒ Portia sends Lucius to the Senate with the task of reporting back to her about the ongoing events.
